Focusing on Safety: The Transfar Synthetic Material Comprehensive Safety Knowledge Competition for All Employees Was Successfully Conducted

On the afternoon of January 9, the 2nd All-staff Safety Knowledge Contest of Transfar Synthetic Material themed "I Want Safety, I Know How to Ensure Safety, I Am Capable of Ensuring Safety" was warmly held in the Large Conference Room. Eighteen teams from all workshops and departments gathered to compete in a contest of wisdom and safety expertise.

At the opening of the event, Li Yongsheng, Chief Safety Officer of Transfar Synthetic Material, delivered an encouraging speech to all contestants, instantly lifting the atmosphere. Three judges were present to guarantee a fair and impartial competition.

In the Team Showcase session, all 18 teams presented distinctive performances, featuring inspiring battle cries and creative safety slogans. "Computers have 360 Security Guards, and we are 365 Safety Guards; zero blind spots at 360°, protection 365 days a year." The slogan of the Guard Team vividly illustrated that safety is always around us. The Duidui Team and Dream Team stood out with an original safety skit, helping all participants deepen their understanding of safety knowledge amid laughter and winning rounds of applause.

During the Individual Mandatory Q&A session, contestants held their breath and answered steadily with solid knowledge reserves. The Safety Relay Round was even more intense. Each team member needed to answer safety questions correctly before passing the baton to the next teammate. Many teams demonstrated full determination to see the relay through to the end.

After fierce preliminary rounds, eight strong teams qualified directly for the final. The remaining ten teams competed in the wildcard round for two precious final spots. They strove relentlessly and proved their value with strength and courage. Ultimately, two teams secured wildcard tickets and advanced to the final with outstanding performance.

The final consisted of timed quiz, risky team buzzer challenge and surprise comeback round, with difficulty levels rising progressively.

The surprise comeback round brought huge uncertainty to the contest. The Warrior Team reacted swiftly and pressed the buzzer at the critical moment to win the answering opportunity. The tough question triggered collective thinking among contestants and audience on site.

The audience interaction session was full of fun during the competition, and everyone enthusiastically engaged in safety knowledge learning.

After intense competition, the Firmament Team (Rare Earth Workshop) won the Grand Prize. The Guard Team (Polybutadiene Workshop) and Ruisi Team (EHS Department) took the First Prize. The Invincible Team (Rare Earth Workshop), Duidui Team (Technology Center) and Duibudui Team (Technology Center) claimed the Second Prize. The Warrior Team (Supply Chain Management Department), Victory Team (Finished Product Workshop), Super Energy Team (Equipment & Power Department) and Charge Team (Tank Loading Workshop) received the Third Prize. The Invincible Team (Rare Earth Workshop), Duidui Team (Technology Center) and Dream Team (Quality Control Department) won the Best Performance Award. The Leap Team (Polybutadiene Workshop), Guardian Team (Finished Product Workshop), Safety Team (Finished Product Workshop), Brave Team (Finished Product Workshop), Ping’an Team (Polybutadiene Workshop), Dream Team (Quality Control Department), Wisdom Team (Equipment & Power Department) and 2+1 Team (Rare Earth Workshop) obtained the Participation Award.

Finally, General Manager Wang Changyin delivered a concluding speech. He first congratulated all award winners and praised the great significance of this activity to the safety cultural transformation of Transfar Synthetic Material. He pointed out that 2025 is the Year of Improvement for Transfar Synthetic Material and put forward three requirements for all staff:

First, Skill Improvement. He expected all employees of Transfar Synthetic Material to forge ahead continuously. Through this contest and follow-up similar activities, all staff shall continuously strengthen basic safety knowledge and skills for respective posts.
